We are The Gathering

At The Gathering we believe that we were all created on purpose and for a purpose. The Church is not tied to a building or location. In scripture, the word we translate as “church” literally means “a gathered people.” A gathered people living on mission and with purpose.

No matter where or when we gather, whether in a corporate worship service or around a dining room table, we exist to help people discover God and His purpose for their life.

OUR LEADERSHIP

Pastor Jonathan & Christina Hamilton

Pastor Jonathan and Christina have been serving together in ministry for over 14 years. Early in their marriage, they made the decision to follow God wherever He would lead them. In 2014, God’s call led them to quit their jobs, sell their house in South Carolina, and move to Georgia to pursue full-time ministry. Years later, God then led them to South Atlanta and put within them a heart for the people in that area. In 2023, once again following the call of God, they stepped out in faith, with four additional families to plant The Gathering in Covington, GA. They have been married 15 years, have one daughter, Charlotte and a new addition to the family on the way.
