FOLLOW JESUS

At The Gathering we are all about helping people find their purpose and this purpose is only found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Scripture tells us that God created mankind for a specific purpose – to worship Him and walk with Him. Sin caused this relationship to be broken. That’s why we see brokenness all around us in the world. War, poverty, sickness, and death are just a few of the many effects of sin. Our world is broken because of sin and in need of a remedy but thankfully God loved us so much that He didn’t leave us in our brokenness. There’s Good News found in one name…Jesus.

Through Jesus, we can be restored in our relationship with God and fulfill our original purpose – to worship Him and walk with Him.

Many people believe Jesus lived. Many people recognize that He was a good teacher that taught good values to live by but deny that He was God. That is not the Jesus of the Bible. We believe the Bible is God’s story of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. Everything hinges on who Jesus is. So who is Jesus?

WHO IS JESUS

Jesus was the only Son of God.

Jesus was God in the flesh.

Jesus lived a sinless life.

Jesus defeated death and is alive.

Jesus is the only way to God.

You can discover purpose today through a relationship with Jesus Christ! All you have to do is confess and turn from your life of brokenness and sin and turn toward God by receiving His gift of salvation available to you through Jesus Christ. You can follow Jesus today by declaring with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and placing your trust in Him for the forgiveness of your sin. (1 John 1:9, Romans 10:9)
